He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Garland and Desma Garland; and his son David Garland. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Garland; his son Chris Garland; his daughter-in-law Nichole Garland; his stepson Tony Greene; and his siblings, Betty Davis, Danny Garland, Harold Garland, Edward Garland, Steve Garland and Diane Notheisen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
