He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Willard Curtis Bonds and Mary Katherine Hurst Bonds; his wife Martha Kuykendoll Bonds; and his sister Emily Johnson. He is survived by: his daughters, Lorinda Thackston (Mark) and Lisa (Tim); his grandson Stacy Bonds (Tara); his brother Randall Bonds (Linda); and his brother-in-law Dan Johnson. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild and one more on the way; nieces and nephews.
