We announce the death of Jessie Mae Harris (Hiram, Georgia), who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 91. Jessie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Summers Sr. and Beulah Summers; her husband Floyd Harris; her daughter Barbara Ann Henderson; and her siblings, James Henry Summers, Ruth Gregory and Frances Curtis.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Harris (Vickie), Delora Harris, Bill Harris (Jayne), Charlie Bruce (Sandra), Curtis Harris, Janet Hall (Michael) and Susan Manning (Murray); and her siblings, Samuel Summers and Bea Mabius (Eddie). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sam Clark Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the LDS Cemetery (1989 Reservation Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29730).
