She was predeceased by: her father William Nix; and her husband Walter Adkins. She is survived by: her children, Peggy Purcell, Dianne Sawyer, Steve Adkins and Judith "Shelly" Koos. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
