She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Shine and Sarah Shine; her stepmother Robesene Shine; her children, Selwyn Reid (Quincy) of Stafford, VA, Kelley Davidson of Hiram, GA and Willie Reid (Shenita) of Villa Rica, GA.; and her grandchildren, Sh'Nya, Jayda, Walter Jr., CJ, Kingston and Lyric.
She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Copeland (David) of Moncks Corner, SC, Betty Shine (Moultrie) of Moncks Corner, SC, Charlie Shine Jr. (Annie) of Moncks Corner, SC, Kelly Shine Sr. (Sharon) of Moncks Corner, SC and Ernest Smith of North Carolina; her stepfather York Smith; and her former husband Benjamin Reid.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gethers Funeral Home - Moncks Corner (200 Grace St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nazareth Reformed Episcopal Church (145 West End Dr, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at the Old Nazareth Cemetery (2205 Wampee Dr, Pinopolis, SC 29469).
