He was predeceased by: his parents, C. H. Pettway and Lillie Mae Pettway; his wife Jacqueline Pettway; his son Alan Pettway; his great grandchild Levi Pettway; and his siblings, Bill Pettway, George Pettway, Ann Thompson, Ruby Hall, Grace Brown and Mary Pettway.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Pettway (Lisa) and Dana Lind (Hughie); and his grandchildren, Neal Pettway (Brittany), Kristen Baldus (Daniel), Nicole Anderson and Matthew Lind (Taylor). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
