She was predeceased by: her parents, William James Riggins, Sr. and Eunice Clotielde Burkett Riggins; her son John Wesley King; her siblings, William James Riggins, Jr. and Susan Riggins Carter; and her aunt Elese Burkett.

She is survived by: her husband Harold King of Hoboken; her children, Timothy King (Rebecca) of Hoboken and Joy King (Martin) of Hoboken; and her grandchildren, Ashlee Johnson of Waynesville, Georgia, Maggie Arnold (Harold) of Millwood, Aubrey King (Bayleigh) of Hillard, Joseph King (Billie Ann) of Hoboken, Allie Harris (Josh) of Hillard, Jacob Johnson (Alyssa) of Hortense and Zeb King of Hillard, Florida. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews.
