She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Griffin and Linnie Strickland Griffin; her husbands, Zelton Davis, Curt Crews and Fred Dowling; her son Tony Crews; her grandsons, Luke Joseph Davis and Luke Johns; and her siblings, Dorothy Davis O'Steen, Joyce Britt, Doris Fewox-Beck, Karen Griffin, Theodore Griffin, Quentin Griffin, Dempsey Griffin and Miller Griffin.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Davis (Gloria) of Hortense, Zelta Manning (Larry) of Manningtown, Ann Callahan (Mike) of Blackshear, Arlene Hall of Hoboken and Marlene Pearson (Everett) of Hoboken; her daughter-in-law Hoi Thi Crews of Waycross; her grandchildren, Dana Bowen (Sean), Jerimey Gibson (Mallory), BJ Hall (Tracy), Krystal Sullivan, Micah Davis, Priscilla Walsh (Cole), Marla Johns, Asia Callahan Boyette (Cord) and Mac Callahan (Davis); her great grandchildren, Nathan Bowen, Bradley Sullivan, Haili Gibson, Rachel Bowen, Mary Hall, Zoie Hester, Cullas Hall, Gemma Bowen, Griffin Walsh, Waylon Gibson, Jamison Gibson, Jerimiah Gibson, Sophia White, Blayden White, Cam Boyette and Mary Mac Callahan; her sisters, Cathryn Strickland and Wanda Hagin; her close friend Sandra Dean; and her caregiver Shirley Sellers. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frye Funeral Home (136 Satilla Ave, Nahunta, GA 31553). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at the Rob Lewis Cemetery.
