He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Odam of Hoboken; his children, Royce Odam (Angie) of Hilliard, Kelly Cox (Ashley) of Hoboken, James Griffin of Augusta, Cindy Carter (Larry) of Hoboken, Nicholas Patten (Katie) of Longwood and Kimberly Vandergrift (Adam) of St. Simons Island, Georgia; his grandchildren, Skylar Mitchell, Colby Odam, Blayne Odam, Braydan Odam, Mallory Odam, Paisley Cox, Lilly Cox, Zailey Cox, Doc Patten, Waylon Patten, Bertie Kate Patten, Pilot Patten, Riley Vandergrift, Madison Vandergrift, Cameron Vandergrift, Brett Crews, Lexi Sweat (Hunter), Levy, Chase and Lainee; his great grandchildren, Holland, Houston, Jayce, Carmena, Brooke, Bowie and Abagail; his sister Kelly Sowell of Norman Park, Georgia; and his close friend Kenny Johns (Cheryl) of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501).
