She is survived by: her husband Donald Ray Haynes; her son Dereck Adam Haynes; her siblings, Hugh Phillips, Felecia Jones and Tammy Pruitt; her mother-in-law Mary Haynes; and her close friend Glenda Crowder. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
