She was predeceased by : her husband Zachary Woodard, Sr.; her parents, Wilbur Thompson, Sr. and Annie Mae Dean Thompson; her daughters, Annie "Christine" Woodard Shy, Darnell Cameron and Gail Woodard; her grandsons, Raemond Daniel and Dexter Woodard; and her siblings, Bobby Lee Thompson, Oliver Thompson, Wilbur Thomson, Jr., Clifford Thompson, Mary Hill Dean, Ambra Swanson, Annette Partridge and Carrie Combs.

She is survived by : her children, Eddie Woodard, Sr. (Terryl), Gwendolyn Hall, Bernice Newton (Gary) and Zachary Woodard, Jr. (Jennifer); her son-in-law Rev. Oliver Cameron; and her grandchildren, Katress McBride (Kelvin), Marcus Woodard, Ytivia Woodard, Daryl Newton (Alicia), Kelvin Cameron, Garrick Woodard, Trevette Woodard, Timothy Woodard, Marco Woodard, Isaac Cameron (Shylonda), Derica Newton, Quentin Hall, Eddie Woodard, Jr., Ja'Netta Woodard of Zachary Woodard, III., Iris Kirksey (Cedric), LaQuentis Woodard, Micko Woodard and Kiona Cameron. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
