He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Joel Thomas "Tom" Hart and Faye Dysinger Hart. He is survived by: his wife Freida Hester Hart; his daughters, Ciara Hart Santana (Yelfrank) and Lexxi Hart Long (Brandon); his siblings, Joel T. Hart, Jr., Mary Katherine Williams (Robert) and Patsy Harris (Jim); and his grandchildren, Jada Hart, Noah Hart, Kody Hart, Jayden Bailey, Cheyenne Bailey and Heidi Long. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Flowers are accepted but it is preferred for donations to be made to Faith Baptist Church in his honor.
