He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Davis Sr. and Lois Estelle Davidson Davis; his siblings, Juanita Wilson, Robert Davis, John Davis Jr., George Davis, Jack Davis and Fred Davis; and the mother of his children Dorothy Randall "Judi" Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Boyd Davis; his children, Randy Davis (Rhonda Hutto) of Lake Park, Georgia, David Davis (Barb) of Dade City and Darice Baysinger (David) of Moore Haven, Florida; his brother Eddie Davis (Sylvia) of Land; and his grandchildren, Bryttnie, Cody, Damon, Gage, Logan and Troy. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
