He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaniel Phillips and Mildred Boswell Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Susan Phillips of Hogansville; his children, Dacia Clark (Wade) of West Point, Casey Phillips of Grantville, David Lynd (Linda) of Valley, AL and Daniel Lynd (Kristen) of Newnan; his grandchildren, Preston Queen (Tiffany), Camryn Goddette (Josh), Tiffani Clark, Baylie Clark, Makayla, Devin, Sheridan Garsee, Lawson Lynd, Coby Garsee, Caleb Lynd, Emma Grace Lynd, Aiden Lynd and Emmett Lynd; and his great grandchildren, Eloise Queen and Kashton King.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
