He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Frank Hooks and Anne Bohannon Hooks; and his stepmother Florence Hooks. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Hooks of Corinth; his daughter Angela Danford (Brad) of Valley, AL; his stepson Rev. Dale Prather (Holly) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Jacob Cook (Ashley) of Valley, Alex Cook (Nathan) of Valley, Katelyn Cook of Valley, Nathan Prather of Franklin and Nolan Prather of Franklin; his great grandchild Serenity Golembeski; and his siblings, Steve Hooks of Valley and Pam McLerran (John) of Texas.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heard County Fireman's Fund in Franklin.
