She was predeceased by: her parents, C. E. "Pete" Hendrix and Mildred Crawford Hendrix; her sister-in-law Beth Hendrix; and her niece Tracy Hendrix Wayland. She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Comer Manhan (Mark) of Fayetteville; her siblings, Bob Hendrix of Muscle Shoals, AL and Marion McCord (Max) of LaGrange, GA; her cousin Becky Hendrix Brooks of Griffin, GA; and her nieces, Susan McCord Hawkins, Alison Hendrix Dodson, Sharon McCord Alford and Stacey McCord Hardigree.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at the Myrtle Hill Cemetery (1100 E Main St, Hogansville, GA 30230).
