He is survived by: his wife Grace Phillips of Hogansville; his daughters, Deanna Tuggle of Newnan and Melissa Oakley (Joe) of Newnan; his grandchildren, Shannen Laster, Gauge Phillips, Hunter Oakley and Reese Oakley; his great grandchildren, Reagan Laster and Bryson Laster; his sister Hilda McWhorter; and his stepchildren, Lisa Lynne Sanborn of Las Vegas, NV, Richard James (Lisa) of Hoschton, Shawn Stanley (Elaine) of Palm Coast, FL and Jeffrey Lee Stanley of Jacksonville, FL..
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
