He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. Cain and Mary Tome Ray Cain; his wife Peggy Kesler Cain; and his brothers, Alfred and Thomas Cain.
He is survived by: his daughter Erin Decker (James) of Homer; and his grandson Colton Decker (Savannah).
