She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn McGee (Russell Cox) of Parkinson's Disease Research Fund and Jim McGee; and her brothers, Wesley Mahaffey, Lee Curtis, Steve Curtis and Tony Curtis.
She is survived by: her siblings, John Cox of Tennessee, David Cox of Georgia, Anita Higgins, Pam Wright of Alabama and Mike McGee of Alabama. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, as well as a host of close extended family and many, many close friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012).
