He was predeceased by: his parents, P. Tom Griffith and Annie Burel Peppers Byrd; his son Michael Loy Griffith; and his sisters, Ann Griffith and Sally Mae McCullough.
He is survived by: his brothers, Harold Griffith, Billy Joe Griffith, Ray Griffith and George Griffith; his stepdaughter Lisa Martin; his children, Troy Lee Griffith Jr. (Patsy) of Commerce, Thomas Curtis Griffith (Sean Carrigan) of Danielsville, Richard Keith Griffith (Lynda) of Ila and Marsha Hammock of Tybee Island; his siblings, Jack Griffith of Eatonton, Johnny Griffith of Eatonton, Scott Griffith of Eatonton, Mary Denham of Eatonton, Jeanette Herring of Eatonton and Janie Watson of Eatonton; and his stepson Parker Griffith of Jefferson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
