He was predeceased by: his mother Verdie Mae Herrin Davis; and his siblings, Denise Newbern, Dottie Newbern Bagley, Deborah Newbern and Johnny Newbern.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Reliford Davis of Homerville; his children, Emalee Rose Newbern of Homerville, Kurt Newbern of Homerville, Johnny Newbern of Homerville and Mary Sanders of Homerville; his sister Darlene; and his brother-in-law Michael Palmer of Homerville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
