He is survived by: his wife Kathern; his children, Lemuel Bounds, Cathy Buckhaults Leslie and Phillip Buckhaults (Cyndy Johnston Buckhaults); his grandchildren, Heather Bounds Morris (Rob Morris), Holly Bounds Jackson (Brian Jackson), Eric Leslie (Heather Sigler Leslie), Amanda Leslie Ethredge (Kelly Ethredge), Caitlin Buckhaults, Caila Buckhaults and Catarina Buckhaults; his great grandchildren, Caleb Morris, Grace Morris, Sofie Beth Jackson, Gloria Jackson, Penny Jackson, Ruby Lee Jackson and Tabitha Leslie; and his nephew James Michael Buckhaults (Debbie Duffy Buckhaults).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church (3105 Valdosta Hwy, Homerville, GA 31634). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
