He is survived by: his wife Ruth Roberts Stalvey; his son Derrall (Heather) of Chattanooga; his grandchildren, Zoe, Ella Claire, Lavell II and Breanna; his children, Shelby, Lavell II of Homerville, Georgia and Breanna; his siblings, Carolyn, Lawanna, Julian and Donald; his siblings-in-law, Denise, Frank, Betrinda and Sean; and his caregiver Megan Herring. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other special in-laws.
