He was predeceased by : his father Calvin Hooper; and his siblings, Willie Hooper, Bobby Jean Hooper, Wayne Hooper, Janie Sue Hooper and Helen Watson.

He is survived by : his sons, Robert Hooper of Monroe, GA and David Hooper of Suwanee, GA; and his siblings, Billy Hooper (Teresa) of Suwanee, GA, Linda Brookshire (Marvin) of Calhoun, GA and Pat Manac (Carlvin) of Dupont. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
