He is survived by: his children, John Powell, Jr. (Paula) of Homerville, Tim William Powell (Danielle) of Homerville, Teresa Warren (Ben) of Nashville and Amy Knight (Robert) of Homerville; his grandchildren, Keiresten Thomas (William), Little John Powell, Shannon Powell, Josh Delk, Jaimie Delk, Ryan Palmer and Caiden Fender; and his siblings, Flint Powell of Nashville and Betsy Purvis (Michael) of Alapaha. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
