He is survived by : his son Johnny Eugene Newbern of Homerville; his grandchildren, Joshua Aaron Newbern, Kurt Andrew Newbern, Johnny Lee Newbern and Emalee Rose Newbern; and his siblings, Darlene Newbern (Michael Palmer) of Homerville and Albert Davis, Jr. (Rosamary) of Homerville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
