He is survived by: his wife Sarah Faye Holmes Burkett of Baxley; his sons, Roy Freeman "Buster" Burkett, Jr. (Gredel) of Surrency, GA and Tony Dwayne Burkett (Pam) of Homerville; his grandchildren, Roy Burkett, III, Emily Featherstone, Erik Burkett, Macy Burkett, Hannah Gilliam, Rebecca Burkett, Jacob Burkett and Laney Buzbee; and his sister Betty June Cason of Homerville. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
