He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lee "Jimmy" Nettles, Sr. and Alma Julia Vinson Nettles; and his sister Sandra Kay Nettles. He is survived by: his children, Tanya Nettles Jones (Kevin Johnson) of Folkston, Steve Nettles (Shannon Mizell) of Homerville and Amber Nettles Cape (Phillip) of Henderson, Nevada; his siblings, Jamie Nettles (Glenda) of Folkston, Darlene Williamson of Folkston, Beulah Conner of Nashville, GA, Crystal Lloyd (Charles) of Folkston, Jewel Chancey (Charles) of Folkston and Stephanie Nettles of Atlanta; and his stepmother Connie Tyo of Folkston. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
