He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Oscar and Emma Strickland Bruce; and his siblings, Oscar Eugene Bruce, Betty Louise Bruce Snead and Mary Emma Tatum.
He is survived by: his wife Lottie Lee Bruce of Homerville; his daughter DeeDee; his son-in-law Carthel Guess of Homerville; his son Ben; his daughter-in-law Janin Bruce of Homerville; his grandchildren, Carleigh McKinnon (Bryan) of Willacoochee, Ethan Guess (Rebecca), Jenna Lee Bruce of Homerville and Jake Bruce of Homerville; his great grandchildren, Jed Guess, Bryleigh McKinnon and Brynne McKinnon; his sister Nita; and his brothers-in-law, Bill White of Brandon, FL and Jim Snead of Summerville, SC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Baptist Church (261 Wood Lake Dr, Homerville, GA 31634). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:40 AM and at 11:00 AM.
