She was predeceased by: her father Frank Brown; her daughter Kayla Elizabeth McWhorter; and her grandparents, James Edward Brown, Lila Mae Taylor Brown, Benjamin "Bennie" Franklin Dowdy and Carrie Mae Mullis Dowdy.
She is survived by: her husband Larkin Anson McWhorter; her sons, Micheal Brandon McWhorter and Madison Cade McWhorter of Hortense; her brother James Cacey Brown (Jennifer Lynn); and her granddaughter Payton Michelle Harris McWhorter.
