As we bid Barbara farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barbara is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Stevens and Lenore Stevens; her siblings, Ronald Stevens and Claudia Flemig; her husband Arnold Doblin; her son Leonard Hackinson; and her grandmother Gigi.
She is survived by: her sister Sharon Pardonek; and her children, Wendy Fitzmartin, Brian Hackinson (Lucy), Tara Gillespie and Barbara Hackinson (Lisa Wilmette). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (6439 Spout Springs Rd, Flowery Branch, GA 30542).
