He was predeceased by: his parents, James Reid and Emma Reid; his brother Edwin Reid; and his brother-in-law Henry Wrench. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Reid of Hoschton; his sons, Matthew Reid (Kaitlin) of Bethlehem and Daniel Reid of Norcross; his siblings, James Reid (Cathy) of Pinson, Alabama and Bonnie Wrench of Birmingham, Alabama.; and his grandchildren, Gavyn, Savannah, Ryker, Charlotte and Renee.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel (4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA 30548). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
