He is survived by: his wife Fannie Franklin Holmes of Hoschton; his children, Thomas Holmes (Rhonda) of Winder, Darlene Tanner (Robert) of Winder, Scottie Holmes (Kay) of Bogart and Cindy Browning (Eric) of Hoschton; and his brother James Holmes of Statham. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
