He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Harlin and Bessie Morrison Harlin; his stepmother Rose Harlin; his wife Pauline M. Harlin; his brothers, Wilber and Donald Harlin; and his sister-in-law Jo Ellen Kotal.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Harlin (Jane) of Mountain Rest, SC, Greg Harlin (Kim) of Annapolis, MD, Doug Harlin Jr. (Allison) of Flowery Branch, GA, Andy Harlin (Jamie) of Atlanta, GA and Kathy Harlin (John) of Flowery Branch, GA; his grandchildren, Eddie (Lilly) and Hannah; and his great grandchild Miles.
