He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyda R. Sledge and Francis P. Sledge II; and his brother Donald V. Sledge. He is survived by: his wife Earline W. Sledge; his children, Mark J. Sledge (Robin), Craig R. Sledge (Marci), Chris L. Sledge and Connie S. Congleton (Mike); and his grandchildren, Cale, Clint, Jessica and Shelby. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
