He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Sr. and Erna; his wife Sharon Denise Foree; his children, Laura VanOssenbruggen (Max), Justin Reames (Alice) and Erika Thomas; his siblings, Estelle Lewis (Larry), Kathy Teel, Robert Foree (Judy) and Sandy Arwood; and his grandchildren, Kira VanOssenbruggen, Maximiliaan James VanOssenbruggen and Savannah Thomas. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any veterans' organization to honor Jim's service to our nation.

“I am so sorry for your loss. Jim and I worked together at Mead. He was one of the first people I met when I joined the company back in 1992. Jim was very helpful in helping me get settled in the job there. Jim knew every system and was a wealth of information on me. We had many good times there that I would not trade for anything. I appreciated everything he taught me and I hope he knew that. Jim was a special guy and he will be missed for sure. I am sorry we did not keep in better touch.”
