It is with sadness that the passing of Jay Andrew Hausmann (Hoschton, Georgia) is shared. Jay, born on February 24, 1968 in Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his stepmother Diane R. Hausmann of Okeechobee, Florida; his grandparents, Marye Carpenter, George Hausmann of New Jersey, Julia and Edward C. Pankowski of Wilmington, Delaware; his uncles, Allan Pankowski of Wilmington, Delaware and Steve Bennett of Wilmington, Delaware; his aunt Bernice Whiteside of Irmo; and his cousin Rhett Whiteside.

He is survived by: his parents, Judith P. Hausmann of Hoschton, Georgia and John A. Hausmann of Okeechobee, Florida; his sister Julie A. Hausmann of Weston, Florida; his aunt Virginia L. Bennett of Wilmington Delaware; his uncle Edward Pankowski of Wilmington, Delaware; and his cousin Brandon Whiteside of Lake Norman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Potter's House in Jefferson, Georgia.
