She was predeceased by: her parents, Kyle Eugene Delp and Mary Eva Johnson Delp; her husband Fred Luther Casteel; and her daughter Wendy Stueck. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Wayne Casteel of Crandal, GA, Geoffrey Lee Casteel (Shana) of Ripley, MS. and Misty Brooke Markel of Hoschton, GA.; her grandchildren, Daniel Casteel, Aaron Casteel, Melanie Casteel, Kristina Mauldin (Nathan), Tristen Rush (Jarad), Jacob Stueck, Jessica Stueck, Wesley Markel, Lacey Markel and Jackson Markel; and her brothers, Wade Delp (Amy) and Hasque Delp.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Glenwood Cemetery (839 Bluff City Hwy, Bristol, TN 37620). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at the same location.
