It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvin Donald Burt of Hoschton, Georgia, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Burt, and Ruby Stephens Burt, Sr.; his wife Ruth Morris Burt; his son Victor Burt; and his brother J. C. Burt, Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Todd (Joli Burt), Trent (Suzanne Burt) and Travis Burt of Hoschton; his grandchildren, Lester, Connor, Avery, Chandler, Gavin and Logan; and his great grandchildren, Leah and Lucas. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Park South Funeral Home (4121 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park South Chapel (4121 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Memorial Park South Cemetery (4121 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542).
