He was predeceased by: his parents, Worth Hayden Puckett and Mary Davis Puckett; his siblings, Rosemary Simonton (Puckett), Johnny, Bill and Jack Puckett; and his sister-in-law June Puckett (Pilgrim).
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Robbie (Shawn), Mark Puckett, Ashley Simmons (Sai), Lisa Swift (Stacey) and Laura Simmons; his grandchildren, Jordan Graham (Kyle), Peyton Puckett, Alexander Puckett, Brandon Puckett, Dallis Goodnight, Tyler Swift, Zack Swift (Kayla), Micah Swift (Lauren) and Tyler Simmons; his great grandchildren, Brielle, Mila, Scarlett and Aries; and his siblings, Paul Puckett and Jenny Rogers (Puckett). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, and many, many good friends.
