He was predeceased by: his mother Gower Latimer (Reba); his wife Carolyn Cripps Latimer; his mother Reba Latimer (Thomas); and his sister Miriam. He is survived by: his children, Dr. David G. Latimer of Athens, GA and Lynn Wilson (Jon); his granddaughter Faith Wilson of Jefferson, GA; his brother John Latimer (Mandy) of Watkinsville, GA; his nieces and nephews, Randy Latimer, Sam Terry, Zoe Latimer, Daniel Latimer and Evie Terry; his cousin Walt Thomas; and his brother-in-law Jim Cripps.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Center Pointe Church (7641 Jackson Trail Rd, Hoschton, GA 30548). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
