She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Donald "Mickey" Stephenson; and her parents, Lewis Adkisson and Veryl Bolles Adkisson. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Stephenson (Stephanie), Chris Stephenson (Marjorie) and Tim Stephenson (Teresa); her brothers, Ron Adkisson and Larry Adkisson; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Mina, Julia and Liam.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gordon's Chapel Methodist Church (6625 Nowhere Rd, Hull, GA 30646). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Gordons Chapel Methodist Church (6625 Nowhere Rd, Hull, GA 30646).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynda's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Georgia Public Broadcasting (PBS).
