He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Frederick Dent and Mamie Lucy Parks Dent; and his siblings, Johnny and Carolyn. He is survived by: his wife Faye Booth McDonald Dent of Sylvester; his children, Dr. Michael Dent, Andy Dent and Becky Dent Robinson; his stepson Michael Fowler; his son David Dent; his grandchildren, Spencer, Jack, Drew, Lilly, Gabby, Aiden, Elliot and Hayes; his stepgrandchildren, Justin and Kristen; his great grandchildren, Alex, James, Kinley and Kimber; and his stepgreat-grandchild Riley.
