She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecile Simmons Minish and Ferris Minish; her siblings, Billy Minish, Mary Gillespie Chandler, Jean Hardman Harris, Nita Wilkins Bellamy and Lammie "Doke" Minish; and her daughter Chrissy Steed Caywood.
She is survived by: her husband Keith Steed; her siblings, Nelda Whitsel of Ila, Madge Stewart of Commerce, Glenda Hogan of Hoschton and Johnny Minish (Brenda) of Ila; her son Matthew Steed (Debra); her grandsons, Hal Steed and Ben Steed; and her son-in-law Eric Caywood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
