It is with sadness that the passing of Sherman Miller of Iron City, Georgia is shared. Sherman, born on March 23, 1936, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Sherman will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Sherman by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parent Ollie Cecil Harlow Miller; his wife Mae Dyches Miller; his children, Michael Miller, Renae Harrell and Sandra Kaye Scott; and his siblings, D. H. Miller, Faye York and Cheryl Roland.
He is survived by: his son Ricky Miller; his grandson David Miller (Kaitlyn); his sister Eloise Ingram; and his close friend Jedd Tillery. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home (909 S Tennille Ave, Donalsonville, GA 39845). A reception was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
