She was predeceased by: her parents, Cora Pearl Jackson and Othar Baker; her husband Johnny Preston Edmond; her daughter Brenda Edmond; her stepchildren, Reita Bass, Cathy Butts, Mary Ann Chambers-Pearson and Eddie Edmond; and her siblings, Justine Little, Helen Curry, Maggie Louder, Ella Mae Morgan and Clarence Wallace.
She is survived by: her son Jerry (Earnestine); her children-in-law, James Bass and Ronna Edmond; and her aunt Hazel Byrd. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Wilkinson County Mortuary (142 Wriley Rd, Irwinton, GA 31042). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the New Bethel Baptist Church (12700 GA-57, Irwinton, GA 31042).
