He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal W., Sr. and Ina Statham McIntyre; and his siblings, Neal Waldo McIntyre, Jr. and Vernetta Aiken. He is survived by: his sweet fur girl Ree; his little white Shorkie; his wife Betty Spicer McIntyre of Irwinville; his daughters, Melinda "Mindy" McHugh (Chip) and Amy O'Quinn (Elder Chad); his grandchildren, Dr. Davis McHugh, Kristen, Drew McHugh, Kathryn, Dr. Erin Schleiden, Chaplain, Elisabeth O'Quinn, Dr. Wesley O'Quinn, Morgan, Ellie O'Quinn, John O'Quinn and Alexander O'Quinn; his great grandchildren, Reece McHugh, Riley Schleiden, Shep Schleiden, Fitz O'Quinn, Isla Kate McHugh and Margot Ann McHugh; and his sister-in-law Bobbie Jean McIntyre of Fitzgerald.
