He is survived by: his wife Danna Wagers; his children, Pam (Marty Chester) and Kenny (Galyn Wagers); his grandchildren, Trey, Audrey Wagers, Emily (Wagers), Wess Kunz, Grace (Wagers), Zach Kennedy, Jillian Wagers and Michael Wagers; his great grandchild Elliot Wagers; his brother Charlie; and his sisters-in-law, Myrna Wagers and Joy Wagers.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home (212 E College St, Jackson, GA 30233). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel (212 E College St, Jackson, GA 30233). A burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM at the Jackson City Cemetery (485 W College Dr, Jackson, GA 30233).
