She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul C Flanders and Virginia Adeline Lohr; and her husband Joe New. She is survived by: her children, Joey New, Jeff New (Donna) and Jill Morris (Jon); her grandchildren, Trent Yarbrough (Jocelyn), Audrey New and Adeline New; her great grandchild Lyla Yarbrough; and her siblings, Bob Flanders (Kelly) and Kay Williams. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stark Methodist Church (1097 Halls Bridge Rd, Jackson, GA 30233). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Stark United Methodist Church (1097 Halls Bridge Rd, Jackson, GA 30233).
