She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Lee Burchfield and Lillie Mae Moorhead Burchfield; and her husband William Herbert Pitt (Bill). She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Pitt Higgins (Bob) of Smyrna, GA, Patricia Pitt of Lithia Springs, GA and Calvin Phillip Pitt (Stacey) of Lexington, KY.; and her grandchildren, Tim, Lori, Kelly, Matt and Kate.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cheatham Hill Memorial Park (1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064).
